Bitcoin dominance is Bitcoin’s market cap divided by the total crypto market cap. Rising dominance often coincides with capital concentrating in BTC; falling dominance can mean altcoins outperforming — or simply BTC falling faster.
It is a descriptive ratio, not a trading signal by itself. Pair it with total market-cap trend, volume, and your own risk limits.
