Market data

Coin markets, global stats, categories, trending, and exchange metadata are fetched from the public CoinGecko API. Responses are cached in memory on the server (typically 1–10 minutes) to respect rate limits and keep pages fast. Fear & Greed comes from alternative.me. News headlines come from public RSS feeds.

Live vs cached

UI badges show Live, Cached, or Cached snapshot. If an upstream request fails, LiquidityFlow falls back to a bundled snapshot so demos and builds still render complete interfaces.

Rankings vs partners

Spot exchange tables follow provider trust/volume fields when present. Featured partners are configured separately and labeled. DEX/derivatives fallback lists may show illustrative figures when endpoints are incomplete.

Paper trading

The Practice desk starts with $10,000 virtual USDT in localStorage. Market and limit orders apply an illustrative 0.1% fee. Flow Coach is an on-page rules engine — not an external LLM — reacting to your fills, size, stops, and session stats. Simulated only; not real money; not advice.
