Campaign math: what the volume costs in fees

One fill's notional times the copied taker rate. Then read what the reward actually is.

By Updated

Short answer

Ten thousand USDT of taker notional at a copied 0.06% taker rate is 6.00 USDT in fees, once. That is one fill's notional, not the open-and-close round trip. Bitbase's first trial-fund tier pairs a 20 USDT trial-fund reward with 100,000 USDT of futures volume. If that volume is all taker at the copied 0.06%, the fee is 60.00 USDT, before funding and the spread.

One fill, not a round trip

The fee board's 1,000 USDT column multiplies the taker rate by two, because a round trip opens and closes. A campaign that says "futures volume" is usually counting the notional of each fill once. On a 0.06% taker schedule, 10,000 USDT of volume is 6.00 USDT in taker fees. The same 10,000 USDT opened and closed is 12.00 USDT. Using the round-trip column for a volume target doubles the fee.

Maker volume is the maker rate, if the order rested. A market order is taker. Funding on a position you hold, and the spread, are still extra. This page leaves both out.

Bitbase trial-fund tier

The Bitbase promo page lists a LiquidityFlow new-user campaign from 10/27/2026 00:00 to 11/24/2026 00:00. The first tier is a 100 USDT net deposit and 100,000 USDT of futures volume for a 20 USDT trial-fund reward. Only the highest qualifying tier counts.

Bitbase's copied VIP 0 futures taker is 0.06%, dated 2026-10-30. If the entire 100,000 USDT of volume is taker at that rate, the fee is 60.00 USDT. If it is all maker at the copied 0.02% maker rate, the fee is 20.00 USDT. The reward is described as trial funds. Whether those funds withdraw, and which products they pay, is on Bitbase's terms, not settled by this arithmetic.

The other tiers are on the promo page. Run the same multiplication: volume times taker percent, divided by 100. Then compare that fee with the trial-fund amount, and read the expiry.

Questions

Is campaign volume the same as a round trip?

No. A round trip on the fee board is open and close, so the rate is applied twice. A campaign that counts trading volume usually counts each fill's notional once. Read the campaign's own definition before you use either number.

What is 10,000 USDT of taker volume at 0.06%?

6.00 USDT. The same notional at 0.02% is 2.00 USDT, and at 0.01% it is 1.00 USDT. Funding and the spread are not included.

What is the Bitbase example?

The promo page lists a 100 USDT net deposit and 100,000 USDT of futures volume for a 20 USDT trial-fund reward, from 10/27/2026 00:00 to 11/24/2026 00:00. Tiers do not stack. Bitbase sets the trial-fund terms.

Is a trial fund the same as USDT I can withdraw?

The Bitbase promo page calls the reward trial funds and says Bitbase sets the terms. This page does not restate those terms as withdrawable cash.

Does a voucher replace the fee schedule?

No. The BloFin review separates a campaign voucher from the fee schedule. The voucher has its own cap and expiry. The copied rate is what the cost hub uses until you are looking at your own ticket.

Not financial advice. A campaign can expire or change the definition of volume. Read the exchange's page before you deposit. Disclaimer.
