Nov 2-6 earnings week on stock perps
Apple Monday, AMD Tuesday, Circle Wednesday, plus the midterms and jobs data, and why most prints land when you can only reduce
Key takeaway
US clocks fell back an hour this morning, so Eastern time now sits five hours behind UTC, and that matters for one of the busiest earnings weeks of the quarter. BloFin Academy's weekly calendar counts 1,649 reports on Nasdaq's list for November 2-6, with the midterm elections on Tuesday and the October jobs report on Friday.

The names that matter, day by day
- Monday: Apple after the close, call at 5PM ET (10PM UTC), Zacks EPS forecast $1.98. Palantir expected the same evening on a Zacks date, forecast $0.33.
- Tuesday: AMD, Supermicro and Block after the close. AMD guided to about $13 billion in revenue, give or take $300 million; Zacks has $1.68 a share.
- Wednesday: Circle, Riot and Hut 8 before the open (Circle forecast $0.40). Qualcomm, AppLovin and Arm after the close.
- Friday: Moderna in the morning, and the jobs report at 8.30AM ET.
How big the last reactions were
The article measured each BloFin perpetual from the 4PM ET close on report day to the next day's close. Palantir jumped 29.2% after its August report, AMD fell 8.3%, Apple fell 7.4%, and Circle ended almost flat at -0.1% after swinging both ways. Bitcoin barely moved in most of those windows, so the swings came from the reports, not crypto. Ten reports are too few to call a pattern; treat them as a sense of scale.
The hours problem
On BloFin, new stock-perp positions follow US regular hours, 9.30AM to 4PM ET, which is 2.30PM to 9PM UTC this week. Outside that window you may only be able to close or cut. Most of these reports come after the close, so the choice to hold through one has to be made before 4PM.
What a repeat move would do
The guide's own example: a 4,000 USDT long on the AMD perpetual at 8x, backed by 500 USDT of margin. A repeat of August's 8.3% drop costs about 330 USDT by the next close, two-thirds of the margin.
Macro in the background: the Fed held at 3.75% to 4% on October 28 with two members voting for a hike, which makes Friday's payrolls a bigger rates test than usual. Nvidia does not report until November 17.
Pick your positions while the market is open, because after the print the button may only say close.
