Thin early volume on BloFin's new PREDICT-USDT perpetual: price 4% under the open, fade bounces into 1.50

PREDICT-USDT went live on BloFin around 5:30 AM ET as a linear USDT perpetual with a 5x ceiling.
Project snapshot
The token belongs to Predict, a BNB Chain prediction market where people take positions on real-world and crypto outcomes. Prediction markets have been one of the louder onchain sectors this year, which helps explain why several venues listed it within a day.
BloFin market data at 3:35 PM ET
- Last 1.4359 against a 1.4997 open, roughly -4.3%.
- 24h high 1.5213, 24h low 1.3072.
- 24h volume only about 18.6K PREDICT (around 27K USDT), so the book is very light.
- Funding +0.0072% per 4h, near flat, with a +/-3% cap.
- Contract value 1 PREDICT, max leverage 5x.
Read of the session
The 1.5213 top came early. Sellers drove price to 1.3072 near midday, the rebound stalled just above 1.50 and a sharp red 15m candle in the last hour knocked it back toward 1.38 before a partial recovery. Funding is not stretched in either direction, so positioning is not the driver here. Supply is.
Bias: SHORT on strength
I would rather sell a pop into the 1.48 to 1.50 zone (the open plus this afternoon's 1.5062 high) than chase here. Downside reference is the 1.3072 low, and losing it opens price discovery.
Invalidation: a 15m close above 1.5213, the 24h high, flips the structure and the short is wrong.
With volume this thin, use limits and expect slippage on stops.
