Fees

On the base tier, BloFin and Bitunix both charge 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker on futures. You pay the fee when you open a position and again when you close it, and it is based on position size, not margin. At the top VIP tier Bitunix's taker fee is lower: 0.026% against BloFin's 0.035%.

BloFin's VIP tiers run from Regular to VIP 5. You qualify by 30-day futures volume, spot volume or assets (BloFin fee schedule). Bitunix runs from VIP 0 to VIP 8 and uses 30-day spot volume, futures volume or balance (Bitunix fee page). Its help center says the fee is charged on both the open and the close, and is based on position size rather than margin (Bitunix fee calculation).

Worked example. Opening and closing a 10,000 USDT futures position with market orders costs 10,000 × 0.06% × 2 = 12 USDT on either exchange at the base tier. Funding payments come on top. See our fees page.

KYC and verification

BloFin. Every new BloFin account starts at Basic (Lv 0). At that level you can withdraw up to 20,000 USDT per 24 hours, and BloFin's table shows no limit on futures trading or leverage. Personal information verification (Lv 1) raises the withdrawal limit to 1,000,000 USDT, and proof of address (Lv 2) raises it to 2,000,000 USDT. Source: BloFin identity verification guide.

Bitunix. Bitunix's KYC levels page says unverified accounts get basic functions only, and that crypto withdrawals unlock at KYC 1 (government ID plus selfie). KYC 1 allows up to 500,000 USDT per 24 hours and KYC 2 (proof of address) allows up to 5,000,000 USDT. Bitunix's other help pages describe unverified withdrawals differently, so we don't quote a no-KYC withdrawal limit for Bitunix. The limit shown on your account page is the one that applies.

Leverage and markets

BloFin's official API shows a maximum of 150x on the BTC-USDT perpetual. Bitunix's official futures guide says up to 200x on its BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT perpetuals. On both exchanges the limit depends on the pair and the position size, so smaller markets usually allow less leverage. Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains. A high maximum is a ceiling, not a recommendation.

Deposits and withdrawals

BloFin has no maximum deposit. Each token and network has a minimum, and a deposit below it is not credited (BloFin deposit FAQ). Withdrawal fees depend on the network and are shown on the Withdraw page (source). For Bitunix withdrawal limits, see the KYC section above. Bitunix network fees were not verified in this check.

Which should you pick?

Pick BloFin if you want to trade futures and withdraw up to 20,000 USDT a day before you verify your ID. Pick Bitunix if you plan to complete KYC, want higher top-tier withdrawal limits (up to 5,000,000 USDT), or want up to 200x on BTC and ETH. Base futures fees are the same on both.
