How to claim the welcome rewards on Bitunix

finding My Rewards, redeeming a futures bonus, and keeping it alive

By Updated

Key takeaway

A Bitunix futures bonus looks like free margin. In practice it is a voucher with conditions, and most of the ways people lose one happen before they've placed a single trade. Here is the full route from a new account to a redeemed bonus, using Bitunix's own help-center rules.

The image is Bitunix's help-center screenshot of the web wallet menu. Click the wallet icon at the top right and My Rewards sits at the bottom of the dropdown, under the account balances. That's where every futures bonus you earn shows up waiting for redemption.

1. Register

Sign up on the site or the app with an email address or a phone number, set a password, accept the terms of service and privacy policy, then enter the verification code you're sent. That's the whole registration flow.

2. Verify your identity before you need to withdraw

Bitunix treats withdrawals as a regulated service. An unverified account (KYC 0) has limited functionality, and you need at least Level 1 (basic verification) before withdrawals are enabled. Level 2 raises limits further. Since the only part of a bonus you can ever take out is the profit, verify early. Otherwise you can end up with withdrawable profit and no way to withdraw it. Turn on 2FA while you're in there.

3. Make the first deposit, on the right network

Click the wallet icon, then Deposit. Choose the coin, choose the network your sending wallet uses, then copy the address. For tokens that need one, such as XRP, include the MEMO or tag. Network confirmation can take anywhere from 3 to 30 minutes. Then move the funds into your futures account, because that's where the bonus is used, and some bonuses need a minimum balance there before they can be activated.

4. Find the reward and check its terms

Bonuses come from Bitunix campaigns and tasks, including the Task Center's daily futures clock-in. They don't activate on their own. Open My Rewards and read the card before you press anything. It shows the amount, the redeem-before date, the minimum futures-account balance needed to redeem, the loss deduction ratio, and how many days it stays usable after redemption. Each campaign sets its own validity period, and if you don't redeem in time, the bonus expires.

5. Redeem, then trade

Press Redeem. The futures trading page then shows the active bonus balance in the Assets panel at the lower right. Copy trading can't use it.

What the bonus can and can't do

  • It counts as margin for opening positions.
  • It can offset trading fees when you open or close a position.
  • It absorbs losses on closed positions until its balance runs out.
  • It can't be moved to spot or withdrawn. Profit made with it can be.
  • While a bonus is in use, the part of the fee it covers earns no fee rebate.

Four ways to lose it without a single bad trade

  1. Transferring out of futures. Any transfer from the futures account before the bonus is used up makes it expire. With an open position, you can only transfer your own assets minus position margin, and the bonus is still invalidated afterwards. If a transfer would trigger liquidation, Bitunix blocks it.
  2. Redeeming a second bonus. Only one can be active, so redeeming a new one recalls the one in use.
  3. Missing the redeem-before date. Unredeemed bonuses simply expire.
  4. Running out the usage window. Once activated, a bonus has to be used within its usage period or the rest expires.

About liquidation

This is the part to take seriously. When a bonus expires or is recalled, it comes out of your available balance. In cross margin mode, that can sharply raise the liquidation risk on any open position, because the margin cushion you were counting on is suddenly gone. Leverage multiplies losses on your own deposit just as much as it multiplies gains. A bonus doesn't change that, and a liquidation can wipe out the bonus and part of your deposit in one move.

A low-stress plan

Trade small on liquid pairs: $BTC.USDT, $ETH.USDT, $SOL.USDT, $DOGE.USDT or $BNB.USDT. Prefer isolated margin while the bonus is active, so an expiry can't drain margin from other positions. Set TP/SL on every order. Write down the expiry date, and close positions before the bonus window ends instead of letting the system pull the margin out from under you.

If your My Rewards card shows a condition you can't make sense of, post what it says (no screenshots of personal details) and we'll work through it.

FAQ

Where is My Rewards?

On Bitunix web, open the wallet menu and choose My Rewards under the balances. Futures Bonus cards waiting to redeem appear there.

How do I redeem?

Open the Futures Bonus card and follow Redeem. Confirm the coverage window and any wallet restriction before you click through.

What should I watch for?

Bonus credit is not free cash to withdraw. Moving funds out of futures or letting the card expire can void unused value. Read the card rules each time.

Does KYC matter?

Higher KYC tiers raise withdrawal limits. Finish verification before you size deposits around a reward task so you can exit when you want.
